 Our Voluntary Workers Baby nel Cuore is a voluntary organisation created in Bologna, Italy in 1993 to promote welfare programmes and child sponsoring in Third World countries in order to provide a better, brighter future for children in need. Baby nel Cuore is an Italian recognised non-profit social services organisation. We offer our services completely free of charge. We do not collect money. Our job is to allow people wishing to offer something to make direct contact with institutions and organisations in need of donations (missions, hospitals, sheltered homes, schools etc.). Since the institution of our free phone number, we have received more than 32,000 enquiries about Baby nel Cuore. More than 12,500 people have become sponsors of children in countries as diverse as Albania, Angola, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Congo, Croatia, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Jordan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mexico, Palestine, Paraguay, Romania, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Uruguay. Baby nel Cuore is an officially recognised Italian voluntary association (Registration number 46789). Its legal status as a non-profit organisation complies with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Decree n. 295, published in the Official Bulletin on 19/12/00.
