In the Quichè district near the border with Mexico, CEFA is doing its utmost to ensure that young girls go to school. Traditionally, they have stayed within the family doing domestic chores and looking after younger siblings.

100 children are hoping for help to built one nursery school, they attend in the village of Uheni and receive one hot meal a day.
CEFA wants to built the nursery school located at Uheni in order to improve the general health of the 100 local children living there. Sponsoring a child will mean that he or she will be able to enjoy the healthy environment of the school and receive at least one hot meal a day.

In the Albanian town of Elbasan, 250 children between 6 and 14 years need sponsoring to ensure they receive enough food and get a decent education.
Cefa has a Day Education Centre in Elbasan which provides needy children with a basic education, food and heathcare.

120 orphan children and adolescents, aged 6 to 14, need to be taken in at the Huambo residence where they will be fed, looked after and given a basic education.
The Don Calabria Mission in the city of Huambo in Angola has set itself the goal of taking in all war orphans of the area in order to provide them with a family environment, an essential point of reference in their young lives and especially, give them back their dignity.

AVSI provides help to 2 primary schools in Amman, one that has been run for more than 50 years by the Dorothean order of Italian nuns headed by Sister Gabriella Pavan, while the other is a parish school dating back to 1890 and today run by Father Anton. All donations go to supporting the children.

300 children and teenagers need one square meal a day, health care and school books. "Nuestra Senora de la Paz", located in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
The day centre is located near the Parroquia Nuestra Senora de la Paz: run by Father Ruben Pagura and Mr Juan Manuel Speranza, it provides recreational and educational activities along with health care and meals.
